Richter-Helm BioLogics
Richter-Helm BioLogics is a leading and expanding Germany-based cGMP contract manufacturer of biopharmaceuticals. The company specialise in products derived from bacteria and yeasts, implementing various production processes for protein- and pDNA-based projects, and developed in-house Pichia-based production.
Over the past 30 years, Richter-Helm gained substantial experience in the development and manufacture of different product classes e.g., recombinant proteins, antibodies (VHH), vaccines, and plasmid DNA.
With an excellent proprietary, high-performance pDNA process, namely RHB-pART, Richter-Helm brings customers’ projects to success.
RHB-pART can be easily applied to individual customer projects at scales required and delivers pDNA used for different purposes such as the API, as raw material for virus production, or as a template for mRNA products.
The company currently operates a development facility and two cGMP manufacturing facilities with bioreactor capacities of up to 1,500L, enabling GMP manufacturing for Phase I to III up to commercial supply.
By expanding with two additional bioreactors with capacities of 300L and 1,500L for microbial production, Richter-Helm is able to projects accept and process further (pDNA) projects end of 2023 in the new facility.
Richter-Helm works to the highest standards of pharmaceutical quality which has been verified by major regulatory bodies including EMA, FDA, PMDA, and more.
