Celltainer, recently acquired by Bionet offers single-use 2D rocking bioreactors for microbial and advanced cell therapy applications. The patented 2D movement principle outcompetes the standard wave technology in the transfer of oxygen mass, required in the production of pDNA. Other innovative feature is the expansion channel, which allows to run fed-batch from seeding to harvest in a 50-fold ratio, reducing handling, risk of contamination during transfers and costs. Both are unique features to produce quality mRNA under GMP standards, and they only add up to the known advantages already associated with single use technologies.
