Salman Mustfa

Dr. Salman Mustfa is a Senior Researcher with expertise in molecular and cellular biology, gene editing, and advanced gene delivery technologies. His work spans mRNA design and synthesis, vector design and cloning, CRISPR workflows, nanoneedle-mediated gene delivery, mammalian cell culture, cell signalling, nanomaterials, immunology, SUMOylation, and infection biology using small animal models.

He earned his PhD in Biotechnology from the Regional Centre for Biotechnology, India, and completed over three years of postdoctoral research at Yale University (USA) and King’s College London (UK). Dr. Mustfa has published more than 10 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals, including Advanced Materials, Advanced Science, Nature Communications, ACS Nano, and Nanoscale.

Passionate about translating molecular strategies and innovative materials into therapeutic applications, Dr. Mustfa is dedicated to advancing research that bridges fundamental biology with impactful medical solutions.
